Laughing Cocktail is a cocktail-centric consulting and events agency.
Headed by writer and acclaimed bartender Derek Brown, our team has come together to advance the culinary craft of cocktails and, by extension, the good life.
We train, educate and, of course, entertain.
Derek and our talented team of bartenders and pros produce training programs, cocktail programs, seminars, media, and one-of-a-kind events. We also manage celebrated bars and are involved in all sorts of fun projects and collaborations (we’re currently working on a line of cocktail inspired chocolates!)
We pour ourselves into each and every drink.
Cocktails are more than just a moment of repose or a pleasant diversion; cocktails are liquid artifacts of our culture and are lifted at the very best moments of our life. We place a high value on this unique status of cocktails and make sure that shows in our work.
We are based in D.C. but you can find us puddle jumping and jet setting all over the place.
